About

A life given to Jyotishya, to music, and to the Ramayana — consultations, classes, and satsang — offered with patience, clarity, and a spiritual touch.

About Kiran Shankarji

Kiran Shankarji is a senior Art of Living teacher and a Jyotishi. He is a Carnatic musician. He began with his mother, in childhood, and later sat as music director for more than forty films. That chapter is complete. His time now belongs to Jyotishya. Under the name Jyotishya Kirana he sits with charts, teaches, and holds satsang. The bhajan was never put aside.

People come to him for a consultation, a class, an evening of bhajan, or a sitting with the Ramayana. They leave with something they can actually do — and, very often, with a quieter mind. He also owns Nada Audio Tech, a company that deals in acoustic materials. Sound, silence, and sadhana sit close together in the life he has chosen.

Jyotishya Practice

Over the years he has read over 6,000 charts, with excellent feedback. Sittings are one to one, online on WhatsApp audio and in person. He teaches those who are beginning, and those who already study. Some people come once. Many return, and some bring their families.

What stays with them is not a display of prediction. He listens. He sees. He says what is needed, often in a few words. Those who take up the pariharas — stotras, chanting, a stretch of days kept with faith — speak of minds that stopped spinning, of work that arrived when it was time, of a weight lifting even before the outer situation had fully changed.

Approach

His approach is direct. He listens with great patience. Vedanta is not an extra talk at the end of the sitting; it lives inside the reading. Every chart is held with a spiritual touch: effort, karma, grace, and the grahas as companions one can align with rather than fear.

He gives pariharas. He answers the questions that are actually asked. He does not enlarge worry. People say it is easy to speak to him — even of things they would not say elsewhere. The sitting is a conversation. Follow what is given. It works.

Teaching

He teaches Jyotishya in a practical way, with examples one can picture and connect to. A house and a tenant. A wiper on rainy glass. A difficult idea becomes simple. He is not in a hurry. Humour is part of the class. Students of every age stay with him for hours and still want to hear more.

Beginner classes start from the first letters of the subject. Chart-reading classes are for those who already study. One-day sessions — Aligning with Grahas, and Secrets of Relationships the Jyotishya Way — open a door for people who may never have sat with a chart before. Many finish a batch and come back, not only to learn, but to listen.

He also sits with the Ramayana — the stories, the values, and what they ask of ordinary life. Music, Jyotishya, and the Ramayana are one path of learning and sharing.

Experiences

From those who sat with him.

Consultation

When I am confused I go to him and follow what he says. If he tells me to wait, I wait. If he tells me to go ahead, I go ahead. It works. The intensity of events on my mind has reduced, and I feel much more settled.
